Energize Before Exercise

We have all heard it a million times, food is energy, and it is so true.  That is why you should not exercise on an empty stomach.  Snacks as opposed to large meals are best. Try peanut butter on crackers, fruit, yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, or a small turkey sandwich with a tall glass of water or natural fruit juice 30 minutes before you exercise.  You will find your energy level will be much higher and you will experience less muscle soreness and tiredness after the session as well. Be well!
